Panorama! Mirum added feature for image stitching.

AUGUST 30, 2019
The new panoramic module in the Mirum system allows for more accurate shelf analysis.
Shelf did not fit into the frame? Not a problem. Using the new panoramic image stitching module, Mirum will automatically detect photographs of different parts of a shelf and stitch them into a panorama. Analysis of the entire stack is necessary to calculate the shelf share and to stich a panorama.

A panorama can be stitched from any number of photos, although usually no more than 10 images are required. Preliminarily, each photo undergoes automatic preprocessing, aligning photos taken at different angles.

Panoraming allows our customers to assess goods display more accurately and to calculate KPI using Mirum.
